Biggest Loser Competition CRES has decided to jump on the New Year’s resolution bandwagon again this year for our third installment of the Biggest Loser Competition. We have 19 employees participating, each with a $20 buy-in. The competition ends on March 31st, with the Biggest Loser taking all of the cash! CRES has been actively involved in the process, encouraging group walks and providing daily health tips, recipes and inspiration for all of those interested. We look forward to awarding the winner!

Quick Health Tips for Busy Health Professionals

Try drinking 8 ounces of water first thing in the morning. Many of us reach for coffee before our eyes fully open, but drinking at least 8 ounces of H20 can give you a huge energy boost and dictate your water consumption for the rest of the day. Take it one healthy step further and drink hot water with lemon. This detoxifies your body, boosts your metabolism and gives you a boost of vitamin C to start your day.

Just get moving! Small steps add up to big losses. Not taking that parking spot right in front of the grocery store door and opting for the spot towards the back of the lot gets you moving. Taking the stairs at the office, taking your dog for a long walk or throwing a ball with your kids are all steps toward good health. We choose how we spend our day. Be conscious of being complacent, and plan your day around how to move a little more.
